Renting a Buggy in Maspalomas – What’s Allowed
Many visitors look to rent a buggy to explore Maspalomas on their own. It’s possible — but there are some important rules to know:
- 🛑 Red license plate = no highway access. You cannot drive rental buggies on the GC-1 or other high-speed roads.
- ⏱ Rentals are usually by the hour (not full-day), and must be returned before 18:00.
- 📕 Driving license (B) is required.
- 🧭 Most rentals restrict you to tourist-friendly loops near Maspalomas.
