Can I bring a passenger?

Yes. Most tours allow 1 passenger per buggy. Children over 6 years old are generally allowed.

What’s the difference between a rental and a safari tour?

Rentals are for road use only and have red plates — off-road is forbidden. Safari tours go off-road and include a guide, safety gear, and legal trail access.

Can I drive in the dunes?

No. The Maspalomas dunes are a protected reserve. It’s illegal to drive buggies or quads there.

Can I rent a buggy for 24 hours?

No. Due to red license plate restrictions, buggies must be returned the same day — usually before 6pm.

Are highway drives allowed?

No. Red-plated vehicles are restricted to local roads — not highways or express routes.

Are the tours safe?

Yes. All vehicles are well-maintained and guided. Safety briefings are included.

Do I drive alone?

No. You drive in a convoy led by a professional guide — it’s fun and safe.

Can I drive in the Maspalomas dunes?
